Please note that leave of absence during term time will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances (see our Attendance Policy). A request for leave of absence should be made in advance on the form available from the office, giving at least 4 weeks’ notice and full details of the reason for taking your child out of school. If your child is absent without authorisation for 5 consecutive school days or longer, the local authority may issue a fixed penalty notice.
