Children in Year 4 have been using charcoal to represent light and dark; as well as comparing objects of different sizes. 

This morning, Gill from Cheshire Road Safety came into school to help us launch our Parent Parking Charter.  All parents/carers are encouraged to sign the charter.  The charter has been created by children in school to help keep everyone safe.

In Year 4, the children have been learning how to create a 3D drawing.  We have experimented with shading to create different tones and how to make an object look 3D..

Children in Year 5 and Year 6 participated in a Christmas Sports Festival with other local primary schools.  Children were encouraged to try new sports including archery, table-tennis and boccia.

This term, Year 4 are exploring electrical circuits and conductors. Today we used our knowledge of circuits and conductors and insulators to discuss the purpose of switches and how they work.

Children in Year 4 have been learning about the history of the Christingle and why it is important to all Christians.  

As part of our Year 4 Swimming lessons, the children have been how to swim in pyjamas.  Not only did the children have a fab time, they also learnt some important water safety messages and lifesaving skills.
