What could be better than an Autumnal Apple Crumble?

Reception listened to different pieces of music and used paint to record their emotional responses, creating exciting and expressive paintings. 

Children in Year 4 have been thinking about what makes an effective team, with a focus on communication, cooperation and responsibility.  The children were challenged to cross the river, without touching the floor, using only a mat and a bench.  

Reception class collected materials and objects from nature to make painting tools; the children used these tool with mud to create abstract and figurative art. 

As part of Cross Curriculum Mathematics, children have been learning Roman Numerals to 100.

Year 2 have been exploring different habitats, following their trip to Chester Zoo.

Four fine young ambassadors from Y6 represented our school impeccably at a competitive maths quiz this week. They finished a very respectable 4th against tough competition and we are very proud of them!
