Plant life
Well we have been observing our plants in action. In week 2 the plant in 2cm soil was in the lead, but now in week 3 the plant with 3cm soil has taken he lead. So with one week to go it is all getting very exciting!
Year 3 science
Year 3 are working scientifically observing plants growing in three different conditions over a month.

Year 3 went into our wooded copse to trigger our creative senses in literacy.
Collages in art
Year 3 have been making collages of Ziraffe Girrafe. We are learning abuot this story in literacy. Ziraffe was given as a present to France in 1827.
All around the World
In Geography Year 3 have been learning about the Continents of Europe and North America. We have been comparing the lives of British and Spanish people with those of the United States of America.
Famous plant explorer from the past.
We went on a plant hunt just like the famous plant explorer George Forrest. He was born in 1873 in Scotland. He went to lots of countries to find new plants. He brought 1200 plants and seeds back to the UK.
